Identifying options for data collection relating to the Children’s Workforce

The Children’s Workforce Network (CWN) is a coalition of Sector Skills Councils and regulatory bodies concerned with the skills development and regulation of those who work with children.

CWN concluded that data on the children’s workforce is “patchy and incomplete” and we were contracted to review options for obtaining better data on the children’s workforce.  The work included:  review of data needs of CWN members, identification of current datasets containing useful information on the children’s workforce, identification and assessment of options for meeting the data needs of CWN members.
